Service Learning Project

This Tech in Service Learning Project–How to Use Tech in Service Learning–blends the student knowledge of tech with service learning in their geographic area. Students set up classes at local senior homes to teach them how to do basic computers skills like use digital cameras, edit photos, chat with family on Twitter or Facebook, create a blog, use email, and more. Designed for middle school, this lesson  is student-directed, self-paced, with lots of independence and authentic learning.
