This Write an Ebook Project–How to Write an Ebook in Your Classroom–blends student knowledge of writing, reading, economics, business, in a unique preparation for a career in journalism, writing, suited to both college and career. The strands of this project extend throughout the school year, in such a way that by the end of the year, each student has written and published their own novella. This includes students working in small critique groups administered via an online virtual meeting platform. Designed for middle school, this lesson is student-directed, self-paced, with lots of independence and authentic learning.
